2026 NOVENA FOR LIFE

Honoring the Feast of the Visitation Join us in Prayer To Protect Human Life! Thursday January 16, Thru Friday January 24, 2026 A Novena for Life sponsored by Knights of Columbus Alabama State Council and hosted by the Alabama Knights on Bikes will be held from January 16th until January 24th to pray for a culture of life and civilization of love in our community, nation and world. Silver Rose

Message from the Silver Rose Chairman

Dear Brother Knights, Each year, from February through mid-December, Silver Roses are stewarded by Knights of Columbus councils along routes from Canada to Mexico. Every stop the Silver Rose makes throughout the pilgrimage is a rosary-centered occasion for Knights, parishioners, and community members to pray for respect for life, for the spiritual renewal of each nation, and for the advancement of the message of Our Lady of Guadalupe. We have received our Silver Rose schedule from Supreme, now comes the hard part; setting up the state schedule. I know there are some who may request hosting the Silver Rose on a specific date, or want to have it longer than one (1) Day, or they may even wish to reserve it on a specific date or wonder why it cannot be received for their scheduled Mass....

Worthy Grand Knights and Family Directors, Another winner has been chosen. Family of the Month for September (voting closed 15 OCT), is the Smith Family in Florence. The Smith Family will receive a gift from Supreme. Mr Mark Smith had a birthday this past month (9/14) so Happy Birthday to Mark. His records show Marital Status unknown but we can assume he is a family man and doing all the right things.
