Worthy Grand Knights and Family Directors, Continue to support your Families and the Family of the Month Program.  You have till 15 Feb to submit for the January 'Family of the Month', use the Form 10784. Congratulations to the December Family of the month from Good Shepherd Council 11672.  Selection is random but you have to play to win!  15 Feb for the January prize! Honoring the Feast of the Visitation Join us in Prayer To Protect Human Life! Thursday January 16, Thru Friday January 24, 2026 A Novena for Life sponsored by Knights of Columbus Alabama State Council and hosted by the Alabama Knights on Bikes will be held from January 16th until January 24th to pray for a culture of life and civilization of love in our community, nation and world.  Each evening beginning at 7pm Central Time, attendees may join via Zoom (Invitations available by contacting: kofcalkob@gmail.com or john.l.1955@gmail.com) we will also broadcast on the “Knights on Bikes - Alabama” Facebook page. Message from the Silver Rose Chairman

Dear Brother Knights, Each year, from February through mid-December, Silver Roses are stewarded by Knights of Columbus councils along routes from Canada to Mexico. Every stop the Silver Rose makes throughout the pilgrimage is a rosary-centered occasion for Knights, parishioners, and community members to pray for respect for life, for the spiritual renewal of each nation, and for the advancement of the message of Our Lady of Guadalupe. We have received our Silver Rose schedule from Supreme, now comes the hard part; setting up the state schedule. I know there are some who may request hosting the Silver Rose on a specific date, or want to have it longer than one (1) Day, or they may even wish to reserve it on a specific date or wonder why it cannot be received for their scheduled Mass....

Worthy Grand Knights and Family Directors, Another winner has been chosen.  Family of the Month for September (voting closed 15 OCT), is the Smith Family in Florence.  The Smith Family will receive a gift from Supreme. Mr Mark Smith had a birthday this past month (9/14) so Happy Birthday to Mark.  His records show Marital Status unknown but we can assume he is a family man and doing all the right things.  Congratulations to Mark and his Family, Council 3989 (Florence) and their Grand Knight James Farej for supporting the families within the council.
