Past State Deputy Charlie Hedrick Passed Away July 5, 2018

Charles David Hedrick, Charlie, of Birmingham AL, passed away on July 5, 2018 at the age of 76. He is survived by his spouse of almost 53 years, Evelyn, his two sons Charles Patrick Hedrick (Sharon) of Frisco, TX and Robert Aiden Hedrick (Miranda) of Birmingham, AL, daughter Deborah Mary Lancaster (Alan) of Birmingham, AL, grandsons Charlie Hedrick and Kyle Lancaster (Shannon), granddaughters Anna Lancaster, Kaitlyn Hedrick, Allie Hedrick and Laurie Lancaster, great granddaughters Norah and Clara Lancaster, his brother Robert Hedrick (Diane) of Randolph, MA, sister in law Carole Hedrick of South Easton, MA and numerous nieces and nephews. Installation of Officers

The Installation of Officers for the Alabama State Council was held today during the 5:30 pm Mass at St. John the Baptist in Madison, AL.  An Honor Guard preceded the liturgical procession which included the State Officers, Directors, and their wives.  Rev. Dan Good, the State Chaplian, was the celebrant of the Mass.  Jason Esteve, who was installed as State Deputy three weeks ago while in New Haven, CT, installed the officers and bestowed on each the jewel of their office.

Refund Support Vocation Program (RSVP)

A Higher Purpose Keep the faith alive by supporting our seminarians and postulants. As the strong right arm of the church, Knights of Columbus are committed to providing moral, financial and spiritual support to our future priests and religious at all stages of their formation. A featured program, RSVP counts for two credits toward the Columbian Award. Overview Knights of Columbus stand in solidarity with our priests and religious. Through this program, council and parish families will raise funds to support seminarians in their area. For every $500 donated to an individual seminarian or religious aspirant, the Supreme Council will refund $100 back to the council, up to a maximum of $400 (four individuals) per council per fraternal year.
