Silver Rose

Dear Brother Knights, Each year, from February through mid-December, Silver Roses are stewarded by Knights of Columbus councils along routes from Canada to Mexico. Every stop the Silver Rose makes throughout the pilgrimage is a rosary-centered occasion for Knights, parishioners, and community members to pray for respect for life, for the spiritual renewal of each nation, and for the advancement of the message of Our Lady of Guadalupe. We have received our Silver Rose schedule from Supreme, now comes the hard part; setting up the state schedule. I know there are some who may request hosting the Silver Rose on a specific date, or want to have it longer than one (1) Day, or they may even wish to reserve it on a specific date or wonder why it cannot be received for their scheduled Mass....

Dear Brother Knights,       Have you ever wondered “Why does My Council Only Get The Silver Rose for one (1) Day, or Why I cannot reserve it on a specific date or why it cannot be received for our usually scheduled Mass.      There are approximately 137 Parishes and missions throughout the Great State of Alabama and the state will host the “Silver Rose” for just 30 days before it moves on to Mississippi.      There are a total of 8 routes, that all start their journey in late February or early March, across North America.
